Certification by the awarding body means Alchemy will now become an approved centre for the delivery of a broad range of security-related qualifications. The scope of their courses is designed to train personnel in vital skills such as first aid, risk assessment, conflict management and close protection.
The company’s aim is to become regarded in the industry as credible among its peers and desirable for students and employers, according to Stuart Nash, managing director of Alchemy Global.

Almost all Alchemy’s instructors have had full careers in a uniformed service or a government organisation, followed by time spent in the private security sector. In addition, they will have had recent operational experience in the disciplines they teach.
Stuart added: “Learners successfully completing Alchemy’s various training programmes can be assured of credible, relevant and contemporary content. We aren’t training for certificates we are training for operations.”
